NuggetStrike ("we", "our", or "us") provides the NuggetStrike Field OS web application and mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have complete control over your field prospecting data.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your email address, name, and hashed passwords.
Geolocation Data: With your explicit device permission, we access your device GPS coordinates to display your location relative to mining claims, USFS/BLM boundaries, and geological fault sutures. GPS coordinates for your private field waypoints are stored locally on your device by default.
Camera and Field Specimen Photos: When you use Pocket Geologist Vision, photos of rocks, outcrops, or pan concentrates are transmitted securely over TLS to Azure AI Foundry for inference. We do not sell or monetize your specimen imagery.
Subscription and Purchase Data: In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat, Google Play Billing, and Apple StoreKit. NuggetStrike does not collect or store full credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To calculate localized mineral prospectivity scores and geological shear zone proximity.
To enforce fair monthly AI insight quotas across Free and Pro tiers.
To synchronize your subscription entitlements across Android, iOS, and Web.
To generate official California statutory Notices of Location at your request.

3. Backcountry & Offline Data Security

Field discoveries, nugget weights, and waypoints recorded in your Field Journal are stored in local persistent storage on your browser or device. You maintain full ownership of your discovery locations and may export them anytime as standard GPX or GeoJSON files.

4. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted cloud infrastructure to deliver our services:

Microsoft Azure: Hosted in secure Azure East US data centers (Azure App Service, Key Vault, and Azure AI Foundry).
RevenueCat: In-app purchase verification and cross-platform entitlement management.
USGS & BLM: Public domain geological and cadastral data layers.

5. Data Deletion and Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
